Thursday, February 21, 2019
Start Time:
End Time:
Morris Recreation Center, 5531 39th Ave S, Minneapolis

The flood repairs of Minnehaha Creek in Minneapolis were planned in coordination with the City of Minneapolis' and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board's master planning process for the Minnehaha Parkway Regional Trail. The plan will set a vision and priorities for future park improvements and management along the trail for the next 20 - 30 years.

Initial concepts for focus areas along Minnehaha Parkway Regional Trail will be published online on the Minnehaha Creek Master Plan project page on Thursday, January 31 and will be shared in person at three events.

The initial park design concepts were created after considering thoughts, ideas, and opinions gathered during the summer and fall of 2018 from public events, three CAC meetings, two online surveys, and discussions with partner organizations, MPRB staff, and stakeholders.
