The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District is regulated as a Municipal Separate Stormsewer System (MS4) under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit Program because the District is the drainage authority for eight public drainage systems. As a regulated MS4, the District is required to have a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), which is available below. The District holds an annual public hearing to provide an opportunity for public input on its SWPPP.
