MCWD Office Hours - temporary closing on Tuesday, November 29, 2022

The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District will be closed on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

The office will reopen on Wednesday, November 30 at 8 a.m. and will resume normal business hours as noted below.

 

The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District office hours are Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 4:30 pm. The office is closed to the public on Fridays.

Staff continues to work remotely on Fridays and can be reached via telephone or email. View our staff directory for contact information. Use admin@minnehahacreek.org for general inquiries.

 

Declaration Under Minnesota Open Meeting Law, §13D.021

Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §13D.021, subdivision 1, I hereby determine that on the basis of the general course of the COVID-19 health pandemic, and specifically Emergency Executive Orders 21-11, 21-21, and 21-23 issued by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, it no longer is imprudent or infeasible for the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District Board of Managers, and any committee thereof, to convene in person and in a public setting in accordance with requirements of the Minnesota Open Meeting Law. For this reason, my declaration of March 20, 2020, providing the basis for meetings by telephone or other electronic means, hereby is withdrawn.

MCWD has an online permitting portal that makes it easier for applicants to apply for, track, modify and pay for permits in a comprehensive and intuitive online digital format. As of June 18, 2021, paper and PDF applications are no longer accepted. Contact permitting staff with questions at permitting@minnehahacreek.org or 952.641.4532.
