There is currently no public access on Turbid Lake. It is located west of Laketown Road in Laketown Township.
Turbid Lake is a class 2B lake protected for aquatic life and recreation. MCWD staff has been monitoring the lake once a month from May through September since 2006.

Monitoring season duration was from May through September. Surface samples were collected once a month throughout the season and the parameters analyzed include: total phosphorus (TP) and chlorophyll-a. Measurements of Secchi disc depth were also recorded.

The following summary refers to Figure 7.17 (a-c).
- From May to July, secchi disk depth decreased from 4.3 m to 0.8 m (standard > 1.2 m). Secchi disk depth increased to 1.3 m in August then water clarity decreased for the remainder of the season.
- Chlorophyll-a concentrations increased from 1 µg/L to 44 µg/L from May to July. By the end of the season, concentrations increased to 76 µg/L about five times the standard (< 15 µg/L).
- Surface TP concentrations increased from 54 µg/L to 76 µg/L from May to July, and by September, concentrations had increased to 126 µg/L. Concentrations were above the standard (< 40 µg/L), except in August.
