Lundsten Lake
There is currently no open public access on Lundsten Lake. It is located in Carver Park Reserve and can be accessed by trail. Take State Hwy 7 west from Excelsior and turn south onto Victoria Dr. (County Road 11). Travel about half a mile to Carver Park Reserve where there are access points to the trail system in the park. Lundsten Lake is a class 2B shallow lake protected for aquatic life and recreation. MCWD staff has been monitoring the lake once a month from May through September since 2006. Currently not available. Monitoring season duration was from May through September. Surface samples were collected once a month throughout the season and the parameters analyzed include: total phosphorus (TP) and chlorophyll-a. Measurements of Secchi disc depth were also recorded.
