There is currently no public access for Kreatz Lake. It is located just east of Hwy 101 and 19th Ave. in Plymouth.
Kreatz Lake is a class 2B lake protected for aquatic life and recreation. It is considered to be part of Snyder Lake and is not recognized by the DNR. MCWD staff has been monitoring the lake once a month from May through September since 2006.

Monitoring season duration was from May through September. Surface samples were collected once a month throughout the season and the parameters analyzed include: total phosphorus (TP) and chlorophyll-a. Measurements of Secchi disc depth were also recorded.

The following summary refers to Figure 12.7 (a-c).
- Secchi disk depth decreased from 1.2 m to 0.7 m throughout the season, except in July, when the secchi disk depth increased to 1.5 m (standard > 1.2 m).
- Chlorophyll-a concentrations were below the standard (< 15 µg/L) from May to June. In July, concentrations increased to 34 µg/L, twice the standard limit. Chlorophyll-a concentrations for the remainder of the season were from 29 µg/L to 40 µg/L.
- Surface TP concentrations were above the standard (< 40 µg/L) for the entire season. Concentrations were the highest in June (65 µg/L) and September (79 µg/L).
