Hadley Lake is located in the city of Plymouth. There currently is no public lake access. The closest road to the lake is Brockton Ln N, which can be accessed from Ferndale Rd N just north of US Hwy 12.
Hadley Lake is a class 2B lake protected for aquatic life and recreation. MCWD staff has been monitoring the lake once a month from May through September since 2006.

Monitoring season duration was from May through September. Surface samples were collected once a month throughout the season and the parameters analyzed include: total phosphorus (TP) and chlorophyll-a. Measurements of Secchi disc depth were also recorded.

The following summary refers to Figure 12.5 (a-c).
- In the beginning of the season, secchi disk depth was 3.6 m and decreased to 1.5 m by middle of July (standard > 1.2 m). Secchi disk depth slightly increased to 1.9 m by September.
- Chlorophyll-a concentrations were below the standard (< 15 µg/L), until July. In August, concentrations were at 24 µg/L then decreased to 18 µg/L by the end of the season.
- Surface TP concentrations were below the standard (< 40 µg/L) in May. The remainder of the season, concentrations were above the standard ranging from 51 µg/L to 66 µg/L, with the maximum concentration reached in July.
