The Citizens Advisory Committee meets once a month. The minutes of its meetings are available here. 

In addition to the individuals currently serving on the CAC, MCWD Staff annually seeks to solicit the involvement of other interested parties. Appointments are primarily based on referral by municipalities, general qualifications, geographic representation of existing committee members, previous experience with MCWD and other factors deemed relevant by the MCWD Board of Managers. Future applications will be accepted starting in November and December of 2013.

Note:We’re sorry, CAC appointments for 2013 have already been approved by the MCWD Board of Managers. 

Each year, the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) seeks individuals to serve on its Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC).  Applications are accepted in November and December and are due December 31, for the following year. The MCWD Board of Managers reviews applications and appoints individuals to the CAC annually each January.

Please check back in November or December if you are interested in serving on the CAC.  Additionally, members of the public are always welcome to attend CAC meetings and provide comments on topics or issues at hand.  Meetings are typically held on the 3^rd Thursday of the month at the MCWD offices from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Each year local government entities in the MCWD are invited to appoint one individual (resident of MCWD) and one alternate to serve on this committee. Any resident of MCWD can apply for a spot on the Citizen Advisory Committee with or without endorsement from their local government.
