Plant Trees for Cleaner Water

Fall is a great time to plant a tree!

Planting a tree is an excellent way to slow water runoff into lakes and streams, reducing water pollution. Trees also improve the value of your property, reduce your energy needs, shrink your carbon footprint and clean the air.

Fall of 2008, the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District provided 300 trees to residents of  the District for only $26 each. Limit 3 trees per residence.

The order deadline was September 12.

Tree pickup was Saturday, September 27 at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

NOTE: Trees were not for sale on Saturday, September 27.
