Board Meetings

The Board of Managers meets on the first and third Thursday of each month at 6:45PM.

Project Submittals

Before attending a board meeting regarding permit issuance, you must submit all materials that the District Technician requires 21 days prior to the meeting. Examples of common materials are:

Notification Process

Persons applying for a District permit must supply a certified list of property owners and mailing labels for each property on that list obtained from Hennepin County or Carver County who reside within 600 feet of a parcel on which the proposed project is to occur. Conformity with Municipality

Applications involving land development will be reviewed only after the applicant demonstrates that the plan has received preliminary approval (see Rule A complete text) from each municipality.

Action by Board of Managers

The Board of Managers will act within 45 days of receipt of a complete application and materials.

Board Decision

The Board of Managers may approve or deny an application and, if approving, may impose reasonable conditions. Conditions may include requirements for sureties, maintenance agreements and declarations and may require that those documents be properly executed or recorded before permit issuance.
