Pamela Park Wetland Restoration Update: August 7, 2001

Despite delays due to the very wet spring, Pamela Park planting is progressing well. More than 700 shrubs and trees have been installed around ponds and path. Species include red-twig dogwood, highbush cranberry, tamarack, prairie rose and dwarf bush-honeysuckle. About 3 acres of prairie has been seeded, with 33 species of wildflower seedlings to be planted in September.
