Greenway Cleanup

Sunday, July 23, 10am-noon
Knollwood Target (shuttle buses available from Aquila Elementary School)

An essential part of keeping our waters clean is to pick-up trash along the shores and in the water. Join us for this free, family-friendly clean-up in St. Louis Park on Sunday, July 23! We will focus on cleaning up Minnehaha Creek in St. Louis Park and Hopkins by collecting, weighing, and disposing of trash. We'll also be cleaning and stenciling storm drains in nearby neighborhoods. Bring your friends and compete to see who wins the prize for collecting the most trash!

Want to bike to the event? We'll have a free bike check for your convenience.

The ”Greenway Cleanup" is part of “Jump In & Make a Splash!” - a series of community events across the watershed celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. The event is sponsored by MCWD and Target, in partnership with REI, 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, Berne Scale, Freshwater Society, and Tonka Bay Marina.
