Communications and Education Director

Serves as the District’s spokesperson, raising awareness about the District’s work and the importance of water resource protection.  Works will all District programs to coordinate outreach activities, performs community and media relations and organizes special events including the District's largest annual citizen engagement event - the Minnehaha Creek Cleanup - and the District's annual Watershed Heroes awards ceremony. Oversees the District's communications vehicles including the website, social media sites, Splash e-newsletter and various publications including the annual and mid-year reports. Makes presentations to civic groups, appears at community events and writes for local publications.
