- Under his leadership, the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District was highlighted in the Legislative Auditor’s, “Evaluation Report on Watershed Management” as “one of the most effective water management organizations in Minnesota.”
- Developed framework for the Dakota County Farmland and Natural Areas Program and the MCWD Land Conservation program
- A steadfast champion of public private partnerships and has received national recognition for innovative programs that support economic development while enhancing natural resource protection.
